I clicked that "Notify me when new comments are posted" checkbox at the bottom of the comment form, and it was fun while it lasted but I'm getting tired of the emails now. How do I turn it off?

You should be able to just

You should be able to just click the link in the email notifications. That should do it. If it doesn't stop the emails, send me a private message and I'll manually remove you.

Alternatively, if you are receiving notifications on a poll/article/forum topic which you created, you'll need to go to your profile page and turn off the default notifications there. You can also adjust your default settings for comment notifications there.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any more questions.
