Money can actually buy happiness
Wed, 8 Sep 2010 - 1:24am
According to a new study, earning more money does actually directly correlate with higher self-reported levels of happiness.

Which I guess confirms what we already knew.
Interesting that the highest growth of "happiness" comes before to the $75,000/year mark. After that, there is still "happiness growth", but just not as much.
I forget who said it, but I like this quote: "Money can't buy happiness, but it sure can rent some."

money money money
Money enables you to give your children better education in Indonesia and other parts of the world.
Money allows you to buy luxurious jewelry for the woman you love, despite the fact she might say 'ah,you don't have to do this',but she actually is very happy.
Money buys you ticket to watch cool concerts and it will give you entertainment.
Money takes you all around the world and experience a lot of different things in life.
You can't really buy happiness as there's no store selling it,but it does get you the feeling of self-content when you see your children in a good school,or when you see the smile of your loved one receives a gift from you..

But couldn't you have
But couldn't you have happiness without those things? What about people who can't afford jewelry, concerts, nice schools, traveling, etc. Some of those people are still very happy, many in fact. Maybe the saying should be changed to "Money is not required to buy happiness".

and it seems allows you to say offensive things and not get punched in the mouth. Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi proves that theory here.
